Are your plays suitable for kids with little to no acting experience?
Absolutely! Whether your child is a seasoned performer or just starting out, our play packs provide a wealth of resources, guides and tips so that it isn’t just a fun experience, but an opportunity to explore new talents.
What age groups are best suited to your plays?
The scripts are aimed for grades 5 and upwards. However, as long as kids come comfortably read a script, this is for them.
Do I need to spend money on props or costumes for my kids?
No. We understand parents often have expenses throughout the school year, this is why we encourage the kids to find costumes/props they may already have at home, as well as suggestions on how to make their own.
How long does this program take to complete?
We provide your kids with a 5 day video rehearsal guide. However, our plays are extremely flexible and adaptable to allow for more time if it’s needed.
What’s included in a play pack?

A play pack includes a ready-to-print original script, character guide, props ideas and performance tips, 5+ video rehearsal guides, personalised “show night” invitations and programs, and a music playlist.

The personalised invitation is easily editable on a free Canva account, and can be printed for guests,

Do kids need to memorise all lines?
Absolutely not! Each group is different. Some groups may enjoy the challenge of remembering their lines. However, some may need to have their scripts with them on show night. We encourage kids to challenge themselves; and also to remember that if they do forget their lines, that’s okay.
Do you use AI to write your scripts?
No. All our scripts are written by Holiplay creator and children’s book author, Georgia Spencer.
What if I bought the wrong script and need to include more cast members?

You can find our terms and conditions here. However, we want you to make sure you have the right scripts for your group. Luckily, each script is from the same play but with added characters, so your group should be able to adapt if they have already started practicing their lines. You will just need to pay the difference for the play with extra characters.

Are there any themes that, as a parent, I need to be aware of?
Although our plays do not have any swearing or any sexual references, there may be themes such as positive anti-bullying messages. We encourage parents to take some time to read the script prior, and have open dialigue with kids.
Can it only be done in school holidays?
Not at all! While the majority of groups may get the most out of our program during the school holidays, it is also adaptable and can take as long as you need it to. This can include weekends 🙂
What if we don’t have a Spotify account?
Creating a Spotify account is quick, easy and free. While there are paid plans for Spotify, a free account is all that is needed to access our playlists. Alternatively, music can be found on YouTube or your streaming platform of choice.
How often do you release new plays?
We aim for 4 a year. You may only see one available on the website at a time, which is the latest release.

Synopsis
